| Maheekun Schipperkes |
Maheekun Kennel was founded in 1982 and started out with
Siberian Huskies. Ultimately producing a Multi BIS winning
male named Maheekun's Awesome Artek. Unfortunately I have
no pictures of those dogs of that long ago.
I became interested is Schipperkes in about 1990, and finally
purchased a male puppy . His name was Eli. He was the sire of
the below pictured dog Sly. Sly is owned by Jessica and Sandi
Erickson and he became the top winning Schipperke of ALL
time in Canada with numerous BIS wins and 2 BISS wins. He
also won an AOM at the Denver National Specialty in 2001.
Sly's oficial name is :
AM.Ch. Can. BIS , BISS. Ch. Int. Ch. World Ch. Maheekun I'll Put
A Spell On U. Throughout his show career he was always
handled by Larry Clark of Calgary, AB, Canada

He is the sire of Shiraz, as well as several other Champions.
I want to take this opportunity to thank Lea Murray for making
this little dog into the Champion he bacame. It wouldn't have
happened without her and her devotion and trust in him.
